October 9-October 16, 2026
You and a small group of like minded health seekers will embark upon a guided week-long Ayurvedic cleanse. Ayurvedic Cleansing involves a mono-diet of kitchari (Indian style spiced rice, mung beans, and veggies). The purpose is to clear your digestive system and reset your physical and mental state. This cleanse will focus on simplifying your lifestyle and adding in contemplative practices throughout the week. Doing something like a cleanse is much easier to navigate with the accountability of a group.
Though you may not be able to take off work, avoid scheduling social engagements and extra activities, in order to optimize and simplify your time while cleansing.
Below, you will find our schedule. Please have all ingredients on the shopping list ready to go by Friday evening, Oct 9. A cooking class will be held on Saturday mid-morning Oct 10 to learn how to cook the kitchari. We will meet via Zoom again mid-week to guide your cleansing experience. The Zoom invitations will be sent out at least a day before each meeting. Sara will be available for office hours on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:30-9pm via phone if needed. The cleanse will recap with a online gathering to process on Friday October 16.
